for the second christsmas in a row now we have not put up our tree, no stockings, wait last year i might have tacked them on the wall above our tv, no lights. at the begining of december we put it off for a while ( our tree is in storage) then as soon as we know it its 7 days befor december 25th and it just kinda looks bla. we even have a mantle this year for stockings!! wow , we are really lazy, busy, not in the spirit of the holiday... i dont know. but tonight i am sad over it. we had our christmas party at work tonight and one of my students let me borrow A Christmas Story. i thought i would surprise jeremy because we were at costco the other day and he was looking for it. he got very excited. it was cute. and just think about how much fun it would have been if we could have watched it with our christmas tree lights on, a fire going with stockings hung and eating the cookies i made for the party that nobody ate.im sad. i guess when we go home to boise on sunday we will have our tree and everything else there.

I didn't get out hardly any Christmas decorations this year either. We finally decorated my three little fake alpine trees last night because we felt like bad parents to Hayden for not doing anything. Poor Hayden. Hopefully he won't remember this and hold it against us for the rest of his life.
Well, we have the lights up in the yard, the tree up in the family room and the famous picture of all the girls sitting on Santa & Mrs. Clauses laps out on the kitchen counter! Remember this is the picture where Amanada is 2 yrs. old and is wearing pantyhose under her little pants that were all bunched up at the ankle! Love that picture. Can't wait for you guys to get here!
