Amanda was making fun of me

The other day Amanda was making fun of me because I suggested she go to an English tea shop not far from our house to check it out. She said I only suggested it because I like British stuff so much and started laughing at me. "Just because it's British doesn't mean it's good," she said. I had a difficult time explaining that I didn't think she should go there because I like British stuff, but rather because she likes tea the way peanut butter likes jelly. But apparently she doesn't like English tea. It's different somehow.
